Re:Generation

I was talking to Andrea today about the use of the prefix ‘Re’.  I get the theme, I get the idea and I love that it’s setting everyone on fire for God all over again, or… [Re] setting people on fire for God.

I wish that not everything was Re: though.

Like I said, I get it.  There are parts of me that love it.  But, we are Re:defining our generation X to the Re:generation.  Which again, is a great word.  Even a great way to define what we are trying to do. I guess I’m burnt out from the usage.

In reality, as long as glory is being given to God, I don’t really care what buzz word you use.  But, please, don’t let us lose site of the life of Jesus Christ.  Don’t let us get caught up in labeling, and living out a word, so much that we forget about the Mercy and Forgiveness of Jesus Christ.  Don’t let us lose site of His life, death, and Re:surrection.

Heh.  I guess it all works out Re:gardless.  I love the creativity and passion our generation has, I love it, I guess buzz words turn me off.  Ahh well. Praise God!
